Terms and Conditions

1. Applicability
These are the General Terms and Conditions of LUUKS, a private limited company under Dutch law, with its registered office at Jacob Obrechtstraat 12, 1071 KL Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

These terms and conditions apply to all purchase and sale agreements concluded via the LUUKS webshop (“the Webshop”). By ticking the ‘Agree’ box, you declare that you agree to these terms and conditions. Without agreement, it is not possible to create an account and without an account, no products can be ordered.

2. Purchases

2.1 Ordering process
You can place an order by placing the desired items in your shopping cart. You can then view your shopping cart and make changes. Once your order is complete, click on ‘Checkout’. After entering your details and payment, you complete the order in a secure payment environment.

2.2 Formation of agreement
After completing your order, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail. At that moment, the purchase agreement has been concluded. The agreement is deemed to have been concluded in the Netherlands.

2.3 Refusal of transactions
LUUKS reserves the right to refuse an order or refuse service to anyone, for any reason whatsoever.

2.4 Delivery
LUUKS delivers worldwide.

3. Prices and information

3.1 Prices
All prices on the website include VAT and exclude shipping costs. The shipping costs are added in the order overview. Any import duties, customs costs or local taxes are for the account of the customer.

3.2 Price changes
Price changes do not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

3.3 Accuracy of information
All information on the website is placed with care, but LUUKS cannot fully guarantee its accuracy.

3.4 Incorrect information
Orders placed on the basis of incorrect information are not binding on LUUKS.

3.5 External links
LUUKS is not responsible for the content of third-party websites to which links are made.

4. Payment
Payment can be made via the payment methods indicated on the website. By using a payment method, you confirm that it belongs to you. The order will only be accepted after approval by the card issuer or bank. LUUKS is not liable for delays or non-delivery due to refused payments. Payments are made via a secure SSL connection.

5. Shipping and delivery

5.1 Shipping costs

  • Within the Netherlands and to: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg and Spain: free shipping.
  • Other European countries: €15
  • Rest of the world: €30

Orders are shipped with PostNL. You will receive a track & trace code by e-mail. A signature is required for receipt.

5.2 Delivery time
LUUKS strives to deliver orders within the stated deadlines. These deadlines are indicative and may deviate. Exceeding the deadline does not give the right to compensation or dissolution.

5.3 Delivery Netherlands
Orders placed from Monday to Thursday before 4:00 PM are shipped the same day. Weekend orders are processed on Mondays. If delivery is not possible, you can pick up the package at a PostNL collection point. After three weeks, the package will be returned.

5.4 Delivery abroad
Delivery in other countries is done via local partners of PostNL. The expected delivery times per country are stated on the website. These are indicative.

5.5 Insurance
All shipments are insured until the moment of delivery. Any complaints (for example, damage or missing labels) must be reported within 2 working days of receipt. In the event of non-delivery within 14 days, LUUKS will start an investigation. Restitution will only follow if the carrier or LUUKS is liable.

6. Returns

6.1 Returns and exchanges
For a return or exchange, please report this by email within 7 days of receiving your order. The items must be returned within 14 days, in original packaging and with the associated labels. Return shipments are at the risk and expense of the customer. Unidentified shipments may be returned without refund.
For international returns: always use a traceable shipping method and mark the shipment as “return commercial sample” to avoid extra import duties.
A refund will only take place if the product is received in unused and unworn condition with original packaging and labels.

6.2 Exchange
New items will only be reserved after the return shipment has been received and approved by LUUKS. It is possible that the desired item is no longer available at that time.

6.3 Refund
After receipt of the return shipment, the purchase amount will be refunded to the original payment method within 10 working days. Any shipping costs will not be reimbursed.

6.4 Liability for return shipment
The customer is responsible for a correct return shipment. LUUKS is not liable for loss or damage during the return shipment.

7. Privacy
LUUKS respects your privacy. Personal data will only be used for processing orders and informing about LUUKS and its products.

8. Liability
The liability of LUUKS is limited to the purchase amount of the product in question. LUUKS is not liable for indirect damage such as loss of profit or turnover.

9. Applicable law
All transactions are subject to Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the Amsterdam court, unless LUUKS chooses to bring the dispute before the competent court of the customer’s place of residence. Correspondence can take place in Dutch or English.
